Vermont Granite Museum

Cultural Reconnaissance provided the Vermont Granite Museum with a feasibility study which identified their steam locomotive as a significant resource worthy of preservation. The study also examined the feasibility of relocating the 70-ton locomotive seven miles to a new location where it could be properly interpreted with other large museum objects associated with the Vermont granite industry.
