Survey and Inventory of Historic Places

Cultural Reconnaissance works with local governments, and the state, to provide survey and inventory of specific sites.  The properties within those sites are evaluated against National Register or Local Landmarks criteria for eligibility for historic designation.  Whether it is a simple country barn, or an entire city commercial district, Cultural Reconnaissance can help you determine the presence or absence of a historic site.   The information gleaned from survey and inventory work will either be uploaded to the State WISAARD Database, or we will provide to the local jurisdiction for future planning needs.
